The last time the CT8532-012 Air Jordan 3 "Cool Grey" released, the San Antonio Spurs were on their way to win another championship during their monumental 2006-07 run. Since then, sneakerheads have been waiting for a retro of this classic colorway/sneaker combination. Luckily, recent teases hint of the sneaker's return in 2021. The Air Jordan 3 Retro Cool Grey (2021) features a grey leather upper with Elephant Print motifs on the mudguard and heel. To start out, its titular "Cool Grey" certainly beckons most of the attention here as it swathes the premium leather uppers, tongues and the backgrounds of the cement-printed overlays. Several orange tones contrast with the monochrome upper. The silhouette features a white midsole, an air-sole unit and a black outsole.

This Air Jordan 3 comes dressed in a Silver, Light Graphite, Orange Peel, and Sport Red color combination. Just like the original, it features Grey nubuck across the upper along with Orange and Graphite accents. Finishing the look is hints of Red. Re-releasing for the first time since 2007, this Air Jordan 3 returns with true-to-form coloring and upgraded materials. The construction of the upper on this Jordan 3 is made up of grey nubuck, surrounded by hits of the classic elephant print on the toe box and heel. Additionally, the midsole and outsole are dressed in the same grey and white, respectively. However, the tongue and heel will feature a red Jumpman logo. Along with the accents of yellow, the sneaker hopes to combine previous elements with a new sense of vibrancy.
